Terms

The deal

You film a short video of your stay, a person checks it, you post it from your own account, and once the post is live you get the reward the hotel offers. One reward per guest per campaign.

Who can join

You must be 18 or older. Hotel staff and their families cannot join their own hotel's campaigns.

Your video

It must be yours and honest. Everyone recognisable in it must have agreed to be filmed. No children shown in a way that identifies them.

Mark it as an ad (#ad or the platform's paid partnership label) and use the hotel's tag. That is the law for rewarded posts.

We may decline a video or ask for changes. The reasons come from the campaign brief and our safety checklist.

Reuse licence

You keep ownership of your video. You let the hotel and ROOMONKEY reshare it, with credit to you, on their own channels and ads for 12 months after approval, without extra payment. You can ask us to stop future reuse at any time; posts already published may stay up.

Rewards

Each campaign has a limited number of codes. When they run out, the campaign closes. A code is held for you while your video is uploaded and reviewed, and issued once your post is confirmed live.

The hotel sets the reward and its conditions (dates, expiry). ROOMONKEY is not the hotel and does not sell stays.

No review sites. We never ask for, or reward, reviews on TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Google or similar.

Money

Guests never pay ROOMONKEY anything. There are no fees, subscriptions or in-app purchases, so there is nothing to refund.

Rewards are discounts set and honoured by the hotel. Questions about using a code go to the hotel; we help if the code does not work.

Honest content

We do not write, buy or fake reviews or posts. Every video comes from a real guest of the hotel, and every rewarded post is marked as an ad.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms. French law applies.
