For hotels

Your guests are better advertising than you can buy

A guest films a short video of their stay and posts it on their own account. Once we have checked the post, they get money off their next stay booked direct with you, shown in euros (10% of the stay). You get the video, the reach and a returning guest from the same thirty seconds.

How it works

How a stay becomes a story

  1. STEP 01

    The tap

Poster in the room, card at reception. A guest taps a phone and reads what is asked before signing up to anything.

  2. STEP 02

    The video

The guest films up to 30 seconds following your campaign guidelines (what to show, your tag, #ad), in their own words. A positive review is never required.

  3. STEP 03

    The check

A person checks the video against your guidelines. Once approved, the guest taps Post and sends back the public link.

  4. STEP 04

    The reward

Once the post is verified: money off their next direct stay, shown in euros on your campaign (10% of the stay, for example €400 on 4 nights at Olinto). Any dates, 12 months. Keep it, or give it to a friend.

Videos go to Instagram, TikTok and Facebook only. Never to review sites, which ban rewarded reviews.

Your guests' videos, as ready-made Meta ads

For pilot hotels, our team turns the approved videos into one pack for your own Meta Ads Manager. You import it yourself: one campaign, one ad per video, every ad paused until you switch it on. Your account, your budget, your call.

4 of up to 10 videos picked · tap to change

Illustration with Olinto's own photos and made-up guest handles. Only videos whose guests said yes to paid ads go in a pack, and every ad credits the guest.

Who sees the ad

Show the ad where your next guests live

Meta lets you pick places, not just people. Start from where your past guests come from, one city with a direct flight, or the area around the hotel. Tap a choice and see the same guest video change.

Everyone within 40 km of Paris, a short flight away.

Imagine the guest in the ad is your neighbour

On free YouTube you skip hotel ads after 5 seconds. You don't skip the one filmed by someone from your street. (YouTube ads run through Google Ads, not the Meta pack; same videos, same consent.)

Putting it together

One video, three returns. And then it starts again

One guest video is footage you can use, reach you cannot buy, and a push toward the channel that brings guests back. The returning guest films the next one.

Our story

It started with a thank‑you email

We are a small team that has spent years in hotel marketing and sales. Whenever a guest posted a video of their stay and people started commenting and asking where it was, one of us, Yahya, found them and wrote to say thank you, with a perk or a discount on their next visit.

It worked every time. But guests only heard about it after they had posted. So we asked ourselves: what if every guest knew from day one?

  • Guests

Get paid back for their loyalty and their effort.

  • Hotels

Get a library of real videos and reach guests just like their best ones.

That's ROOMONKEY.

Questions

What operators ask first

What if a guest posts something unflattering?

We never ask for a positive review, and we cannot remove a post from someone else's account. What we can do is see it first, tell you, and give you the chance to fix the problem while the guest is still in the building.

Who owns the video, and can we use it?

The guest owns what they film. Permission for you to reshare it is asked up front, in plain language. Where a guest agrees, you can repost the clip and use it in your own ads.

How much work is it for the front desk?

None day to day. You approve the campaign brief once. Checking videos, verifying posts and issuing codes is our job.

Does it touch review sites?

Never. TripAdvisor, Booking.com and Google ban rewarded reviews, so videos only go to social accounts.

Can we keep to our brand rules?

Yes. Your brief carries them, and a video that breaks them is not approved.

How many guests will take part?

Nobody knows yet for hotels, and anyone who gives you a number is guessing. It is the main thing a first campaign measures, and you set a cap on how many codes go out.
